1.1Parties

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the Customer) and Leopard Sri Lanka Safaris ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a registered tour operator in Sri Lanka.

1.2Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

2.1Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. By placing a booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2.2Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process, including names, dates, and accommodation details for pickup, is accurate and complete.

2.3Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in the currency specified on the booking page and include applicable Yala National Park fees and government taxes, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation and purchase the mandatory park permits.

2.4Cancellation and Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policies are detailed in our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy document. By booking, you agree to the terms outlined in that policy.

3.1Park Rules and Regulations

Yala National Park is governed by strict regulations set by the Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWLC). You must comply with all instructions given by our safari driver/tracker and all park rules. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Remaining inside the safari jeep at all times unless at designated rest stops.
• Maintaining silence or speaking softly to avoid disturbing the wildlife.
• Prohibiting feeding of animals or littering.

3.2Wildlife Sightings

We specialize in providing high-quality leopard and wildlife safaris. However, we deal with wild animals in their natural habitat. We do not guarantee the sighting of any specific animal, including the Sri Lankan Leopard.

3.3Vehicle Allocation

We reserve the right to substitute vehicles and drivers if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or maintenance issues, ensuring the replacement vehicle meets our safety and quality standards.

3.4Pick-up Time

Our safaris operate on strict park time slots. While we strive for punctuality, slight delays may occur due to local traffic or unforeseen circumstances. Customers must be ready at their confirmed pickup location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

4.1Risk Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that participating in a wildlife safari involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, travel in rugged terrain, exposure to natural elements, and encounters with wild animals. You agree to assume all such risks.

4.2Limitation of Damages

In no event shall Leopard Sri Lanka Safaris, its directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with:

• Any injury, loss, damage, or death occurring during the safari.
• The delay or inability to use the booking service or safari.
• Any theft, loss, or damage to personal property.

4.3Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and loss of property.
